Categories for 2008 Instructions: To select a category click anywhere on the title or description of the category. A selected category will have a background color of blue and foreground color of white. To de-select a category simply do the reverse. At least one category is required. Please submit a new form for each nomination.
Most Creative Land Use To a company or individual who has developed the most creative commercial land use (with consideration of lot configuration or terrain, water areas, traffic patterns and other challenges.)
Most Innovative Financing Program To a company or individual who developed the most creative commercial real estate financing project or program (e.g., funding of an atypical or difficult project, new niche financing, unusual terms, layers of financing, reduced transaction costs or other creative solution.)
Best New Mixed-Use Development (within the last five years) To the owner of the best new mixed-use development as to functionality, aesthetics and relationship to surroundings.
Best New Office Development (within the last five year) To the owner of the best new office development as to functionality, aesthetics and relationship to surroundings.
Best New Retail Development To the owner of the best new retail development as to functionality, aesthetics and relationship to surroundings.
Best Redevelopment Project To the owner of the best redevelopment project as to functionality, aesthetics and relationship to surroundings.
Most Creative Marketing Campaign To a company, its graphic design company and/or individual who developed the most creative commercial real estate advertising or marketing project or program.
Professional Commercial Real Estate Service To an individual who provides the best professional commercial real estate service, with consideration for industry knowledge, leadership ability, negotiating skills, work ethic and creativity (e.g., an accountant, appraiser, attorney, broker, consultant, title insurance agent, property manager or other industry service provider).
Community Enhancement Award To a public or non-profit project that enhances its community through resulting economic growth, aesthetic appeal, improved quality of life, job creation and/or other positive impacts).
Trail Blazer of the Year (NEW!) Given to an individual or company who has helped blaze trails for women in commercial real estate throughout their career/history.
Trendsetter Award (NEW!) Given to an individual or company who was willing to take a risk in commercial real estate in an innovative way which was subsequently adopted by many to follow.
Triangle CREW Networking Award Recognizes a networking experience that most clearly exemplifies the goals and purposes of Triangle CREW. The criteria for selection include, but are not limited to: 1. Creativity, program-solving qualities, originality and uniqueness of the experience; 2. The number of professional disciplines represented; 3. The geographical scope; 4. The number of individual TCREW members involved.
Impact Award To an individual who has made a significant contribution to or has had a significant positive influence on the Triangle’s commercial real estate industry.

Image and File Uploads: Maximum of 1MB each file. Six files maximum.
Note: In order to be eligible for an award, projects must be completed by December 31, 2007, and involve commercial real estate projects in the Triangle area.
