All TCREW members are invited to attend. Professional women as well as business owners can make a huge difference in issues that affect us if we band together with information and follow up with action.
Date: April 23, 2008
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Location: Capital City Club
Registration information will be coming soon! North Carolina Representatives Jennifer Weiss, Deborah Ross, and Marilyn Avila will be joining us for a lively discussion about how to get more involved with politics. Every year, legislators are making decisions that will directly affect your business’ bottom line—wouldn’t you like to have a say? Many lawmakers have never run their own business, so it’s important that they hear about your priorities, challenges and concerns first hand. For those who are interested in taking their public policy endeavors to the next level, our panel will also discuss what it takes to run for office. Whatever your party, join us to as we discuss how we can make our mark on public policy by making sure women business owners’ voices are heard loud and clear.
